With the planting season upon us, the plots at Elmwood handed over, and your windowsills hopefully ready to take the odd pot with a tomato plant or herb inside, we will be holding a plant/seed swap.
As part of the World Challenge coffee morning in aid of the Bell Baxter trip to China (please see below) we have got a stall at the Corn Exchange on Saturday, 24th April, 10 am till 12 noon where you can swap your spare plants and seed packages, have a nice cup of tea/coffe and a friendly chat with your fellow gardeners.

Allotments available from March!
From March onwards a first set of twenty-two, quarter-sized allotments (5mx10m) will be available in Cupar. As part of this Cupar Allotment Society is liasing with Fife Council and Elmwood College to draw up a comprehensive list of people interest in taking up a plot in Cupar.
If you are interested in getting a plot, please be so kind and send an email to cuparallotments@googlemail.com. The email needs to include: your full name, address (house name/number; street; postcode) and contact details (telephone; email). This applies to everyone interested in taking on a plot in Cupar i.e. (a) even if you have previously expressed an interest in getting a plot you will need to do this (b) even if you are not interested in taking on one of the plots at Elmwood you should forward your details. By forwarding your details you give us permission to share these with Fife Council and Elmwood College. Given that plots will start in March, there is a tight turnaround. The deadline is two weeks from now: 28th January 2010
